March 20: 1925.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in adjourned
regular session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was
called to order by Mayor H. A. Carlisle at 8:00 oI clock P. M,
March 20, 1925,
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered
pre sent:
Porter
Chamber 1ih
Gum
Perry
Graves
It was moved by Perry and seconded by y y ? Porter that
the following places be named as voting places;
First Ward- Cooper Residence.
Second Ward- City Hall.
Third Ward- V altont s Bake Shop.
Fourth 1,11ard- Anna Dull Residence. The motion carried.
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Porter that
the following be appointed Judges and Clerks of Election:
First Ward:
Judges- Ella Iui. Hall, B. F. Lamb, Vi, L. A. Calder.
Clerks- Lola C. C oope r, 0. 0. Cooper.
Second Ward:
Judges- Nellie J. Click, 0. F. Parker, Gym. Phillips.
Clerks- Ada B. Duncan, Bessie Edwards.
Third ffard:
Judges- May Clark, James H. Grady, J. B. Heinz.
Clerks- Mrs . Marcia H. Jordan, Fern Id. Hannon.
Fourth Ward-
Judges- H. J. Dawds, Nels Vordahl, W. T. Wichert.
Clerks- Dora Dai,,res, Charlotte L. Olofson.
The motion carried.
A communication from C. J. Iviiiler was read in regard
to an Insurance Policy . it was moved 41,-;_'Chamberlin and seconded
by Perry that the policy be taken and paid for from Operating
Fund. The motion carried.
z;ESOLUTIOIV NO. 314.
ie s olu don No. 314, levying and assessing a tax upon
all property in Special Improvement District No. 62 of the
j City of Laurel, "dontana, to defray the cost of making improve-
ments in said Special inrprovement District, was presented and
read. It was moved by:_ Graves and seconded by Porter that
the resolution be provisionally passed. The motion carried.

It was moved and seconded that the City Attorney and
City Clerk be instructed to draft resolution to construct
sidewalk in the petition of Peter :Knudsen. The $otion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn, 11be
motion carr ied.
