March 3, 1925.
The Uity Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called
to order by hlayo H. A. Carlisle at 8:00 of clock P, 1J, March 3,
19 25 .
upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:
Coy
Graves
Gum
Chamberlin
Perry
The minutes of the regular meeting of l ebruary 3rd
were read and approved,
The reports of the Police Judge and Chief of Police
were read. It was moved 'by Gum and seconded by Chamberlin
that the reports be approved, The motion carried.

It was further recoimnended that the following bills be allowed
upon the Operating Fund:

The Committee reported approval of the following bills with
the recommendation that samie be conditionally allowed and the
Clerk be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper funds in
payment thereof as soon as sufficient funds are available for
p ayme nt thereof , but no t otherwise:

It was moved by Coy and seconded by ferry that the report of the
Committee be adopted and that warrants be issued in the manner
recommended by the conanittee. The motion carried.
Minutes of the City Council of Laurel

March 3, 19 25 .
Bond of 416,000.00 for the American Bank of Laurel in
the form of a receipt for Liberty Bonds held by the 111,11erchants
National Bank of St. Paul, lUrnesota, was presented and read.
It was moved- by Coy and seconded by Guru that the bond be
approved. The motion carried.
The Clerk presented check of S. L. Tebo in the amount
of 419.32 and asked to have it cancelled in favor of the water
department for Tebols water bill of that amount. It was moved
by Chamberline and seconded by Graves that the check bf 419.32
issued to S. L. Tebo, be cancelled and new check Written to
the City 4Jater :department to adjust Tebol s indebtedness to the
later Department. The motion carried.
The Clerk reported that it was time to have the tax
books printed. It was moved by Coy and seconded by Perry that
the Clerk have the tax books for the years 1925 and 1926
printed for a price not to exceed 4112.00. G'he motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 313.
Resolution No. 313, a Resolution of Intention to
Create Special Improvement :district No. 63 of the City of
Laurel, Tviontana, was presented and read. It was moved b

It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn.
