Laurel, Montana,
January 21, 1925,
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
adjourned session in the Council Chamber .in the City Hall and
was called to order by Mayor H. A. Carlisle: t 430 P. M.
January 21, 1925.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen asnwered

Some of the bidders on the pump units being present,
the Mayor asked if they i.she d to speak to the Council before
the Council deliberated upon the purchase, Thereupon, Mr.
Newton, Mr. Downs, Mr. Emery and Mir. Hanson spoke on the merits
of the pumps they proposed to furnish. Thereupon, the Mayor
instructed the 'dater Committee to make their report. The
Committee reported recommending that the City purchase the
Gould pump and General Electric motor of the size and type
specified from Crane Co. at $1147,50, It was moved and s econed
that the report of the committee be adopted and that the
Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to. execute contract. The
motion carried,
It was moored and seconded that we do now adjourn.
