The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular session in the Council Chamber and was called to order by Mayor H. Q. Knudsen at 8s ©0 o'clock . P. M. December 21, 1926.. Upon, roll call, the following Aldezmen answered present; Coy Gum Chamb erl in Perry Hartley The minutes of Deeember '7tb. were read, It was moved by Gum and seconded by Chamberlin that they be approved, Mr. Harris appeared before the Council in regard to r increasing the bank bond for City Funds, After some discussion.- it was decided not to increase the bond beyong the 20, 000,00 limit, Policemen Fly appeared before the Council and requested additional help for the holidays, The Mayor instructed the Clerk to see Henry.Herbert and Sam Freund in regard to working on those days, A Trust Receipt for $15,000,00 from the Federal Reserve Bank for the Midland. National Bank was presented and read,- It was moved by Coy and seconded by Perry that this be acscepted, as surety, The motion carried, The City Attorney requested permission to write letters to the farmers and others using water out of the slough on the south side of the Northern Paeific Right-of-way, It was moved by Coy and seconded by Hartley that he be instra eted to do so, The motion carried, It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn, The motion carried. y ,?? r • Approved this 1?d day of , 192 , mayor*
