The Oity Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the Oity Hall and was called
to order by Mayor H, C, Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock P. Id. November 2,

Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;

The minutes of October 19th were read and approved,
The report of the Police Officer was read. It was
moved by Guar and seconded by Graves that the report be approved.
The motion carried.
The report of the Police Judge was read. It was moved
by ' Coy and seconded by Perry that the report be approv ed. The
motion carried.
The report of the City Treasurer was read. It was
moved by Hartley and seconded by Gum that the report 'b e approved,
The motion carried.
The bills for the month of October were refe rred to
the ? inane Committee and after due deliberation, the connittee
reported back recommending the payment of the following bills;

be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper funds i n payment

It was moved and seconded that the report of the, committee be
accepted and that warrants be issued in the manner recommended
by the conn.ittee. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the bills of Vera Sturm for X50.00,
uilico Bros., for 4;15.00 and County. of Yellowstone for $26.6'7 be
paid out of the Operating Fund. The motion carried,
A communication from the State Board of Health was read
and ordered filed,
A communication from the State Board of Underwriters
was read and ordered filed,

It was moved and seconded that the City Clerk be
anthorized. to get someone to trap beavers at the filter bed
if suitable arrangements could be made., The motion carried:
The re-
port of the City Treasnrex for the Firemens
Disability Fund was read.. It was moved and seconded that
resolution be presented at the next meeting transferring to
that fund the amount of interest earned from the General F-hd,
The motion carried.,
RESOLUTION NO. 3370
Resolution No. 33% being a Resolution Levying and
Assessing a Tax -a-pon the Property described as Part of Lots
1-2-3-4-5-and 14 in Block 11, Laurel Realty Subdivision of the
City of Lara.rel, Montana, to defray the Cost of Taking Improve-
ments abutting on said property, was presented for final passage.
The Clerk produced affidavit of posting and informed the Council
that no protests had been received, It was moved by Alderman Coy jl
and seconded by Alderman Perri' that final passage and approval of
this resolution be made. Upon roll call, all Aldermen present
voted aye. Thereupon, Resolution No. 337 was declared finally ?II
passed and adopted,,
After some disoussion of the interest on grater meter
deposits, it was moved by Coy and seconded by Perry that the ?
Water Commissioner be Instructed to call all old certificated
in in order that interest might be paid., The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjov.rn. The
motion carried,
