C. Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock P. id. October 5, 19260 Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: Gum Chamberlin Perry Graves Vor Bahl Hartley The minutes of September 21st were read and approved, The report of the City Treasurer for-:the month of September was read. It was moved by Gum acid seconded by Hartley j that the report be approved:, The motion carried. The report of the Police Judge for the month of September was read. It was moved by Perry and seconded by Graves that the report be approved. the motion carried. The report of the Police Officer for the month of September was read. It was moved by Chamberlin and seconded by Vordahl that the,. report be approved. the motion carried, The report of the Water Commissioner for the month QC August was read. It was moved by V'ordahl and seconded by Graves that the report be approved. The motion carried. The bills for the month of September were referred to the Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee reported back recommending the payment of the following bills: John LeLacheur 9195.63 T, A. The motion carried. j It was moved and seconded that the bills of Marshall Wells Co. , F for 42.60, Quilico Bros, for $17.10, Midland National Bank for 4.00 and Vera Sturm for $50.00 be paid out of the Operating Fund.. 'The motion carried. Minutes of., the. City Council of Laurel Laurel, Montana, October 5, 19260 Resolution No. 33'x. Resolution No. 336, being a Resolution Prescribing the Form, Denomination and Rate of Interest of Bonds of Special Improvement District No. 64 and Providing for the Time of Payment and Redemption. of said bonds, was presented and read. It was moved by Gum and seconded by Chamberlin that said resolution .be passed and adopted. Upon roll call, all Aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 337. Resolution No. 3371, being a Resolution Levying and Assessing a Tax upon the Property described as Part of Lots I 1, 21 3, 4, 5 and. 14 in Block 11, Laurel Realty Subdivision of the City of,,Laurel, Montana, to defray the Cost of Making and read.. Improvements moved byVorda ghln a-ad.1 seconded by Hartleythat presented It said reso- lution be provisionally.passed.and adopted Upon roll call, all Aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared pro- visionally passed and adopted, ORDINA14 CE NO. 286 Ordinance No. 286, being an Ordinance creating Fund to be knows As.'Fund of Special Improvement District No, 64 of the City of Laurel,` was presented and read. After some dis- cussion, it was referred to a committee consisting of Perry, Graves and Gum. After due deliberation* the committee re ported ;I back recommending its ii mediate `passage, It was moved. by { Chamberlin and seconded by Perry that the report of the com- mittee be adopted and that the unanimous consent and vote of the 'Council be had to place Ordinance Do. 286 upon its immediate passage. Upon roll call, all Aldermen present voted aye. It was moved by Perry and seconded by Chamberlin that said Ordinance No. 286 'be passed and adopted. Upon roll call, all _Aldermen .present voted: aye and said ordinance was declared passed and adopted. Estimate-No, 1 and Final in the amount of 01100.00 for Special :improvement, District No. 64 was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Hartley that bonds in the amount of 01100,00 be issued to J, M. Garter as soon as he had deposited X364.25 for printing and stationery and X98.15 for engineering and other incidentals, The motion carried. After some discussion of the condition of the alleys in the rear of the business places, the `Mayor requested the Fire and Police Committee to make a thorough investigation and report i at the next regular meeting of the Council., After some discussion in regard to 'traffic regulation?, it was moved by Perry and seconded by Aartley that the City Attorney be authorized to draft suitable notice for traffic violators that that provision of the ordinance relative thereto would be enforced,.
