Council Charjiber in the City Hall and was called to order by Mayor H. C. Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock 1-1. II'i. September 7. 1926, Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: Coy -Porter Chamberlin Gum V or Bahl Perry Graves i The minutes of august 3rd and August 17th were read --- and approved., The report of the Police judge was presented and read. It was moved by Perry and seconded by Coy that the report be approved. she motion carried. The report of the Police Officer was presented and read. It was moved and seconded that the report be approved. The motion carried. The report of the City Treasurer for the month of August was presented and read. It was moved by Chamberlin and seconded by Gum that the report 'be approved. The motion carried. The report of the eater Commissioner for the month of July was presented and read. '.,It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Coy that the report be approved. The motion carried.. The bills for the month of August were referred to the Finance Cot-mittee and after due deliberation, the committee reported bacE,. recommending the payment of the following bills: City Water Lept. 37.00 City Water Dept. 31.93 B. The motion carried. It was moved and seconded that the bills of Vera Sturm for 050,00, Quilico Bros, for x'16,50, 17m. Fly for Hilda lkalheim for ? 1,15 and Julius Pearse Fire ;Dept. Supply Co, for 0'16,50 be paid out of the Operating :Fund. The motion carried. A bond for I. A. Rigney as City Clerk, Engineer and Water Commissioner was presented and read. It was moved by Coy and seconded by Gum that the bond be approved The motion carried. A letter from the American Legion expressing appreciation for courtesies during the carnival week was read: and ardered filed, A letter from B. F. Thurston in regard to his license was read and referred to the City Attorney. 11 . It was moved -by Coy and seconded by Vordahl that we do now adjourn. The motion carried.
