July 20, 1926.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular �
session in the Council Chamber in the City hall and was called
to order by . President of the :Council R, _L.. Coy at 800 o' clock
P.. 1'11. July 209 1926,
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered
present:
Porter
Gum
Chamberlin
Vordahl
Graves
Perry
The minutes of July 6th were read and approved.
The City Treasureris report for the month of June
was presented and read. It was moved by Perry and seconded
by Guru that the,,report be approved. the motion carried.
The. Water Commissioner)s annual report wad presented
and read. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Perry that
the report be .approved. The motion carried,
RESOLUTION. No. 331
Resolution No,. 331, bung a resolution levying and
as s ess ing all o f tine property . embraced within Special impr-ove--
ment Lighting District No, 1 of the City of Laurel, Montana,
with three-fourths of the entire cost of maintenance and:
electric current for the year 1926, was presented for final
passage.. The .Clem produced affidavit showing proper pub-
lication in the Laurel Outlslol. and informed the Council that
no protests had been received. It was moved by Alderman Perry
and seconded by Alderman Chamberlin that final passage and
approval of this resolution be made, Upon roll call, all
Aldermen present voted aye, ,.thereupon, Resolution No, 331
was declared finally passed and adopted,
RESOLUTION NO. 332, •
Resolution No,332., being a resolution levying and
assessing all of the -property embraced within Special Improve-
ment bighting District No, 2 of the City of Laurel, Montana,
1m ; with three-fourths of the entire cost of maintenance and ,
electric current for the year 1926, was presented for final
passage, The Clerk produced affidavit showing proper pub --
lication in the Laurel Outlook and informed the Council that
no protests had been received, It was moved 'by Alderman
Chamberlin and seconded by Alderman Gum that final passage
and approval of this resolution be made. Upon roll call, all
Aldermen present voted aye, Thereupon, Resolution No. 332
was declared finally passed and adopted.
RESOLUTION NO. 3330
Resolution No, 333, being a resolution levying and
assessing a special tax against certain designated property
for the removal of Garvage, Snow, needs and Refuse, was pre-
sented for final passage.. The Clerk produced affidavit show-
ing proper publication in the Laurel Outlook and informed. the
Council that no protests had been received. It was moved by
Alderman Gum and seconded by Alderman Perry that final passage
and approval of this resolution be made. Upon roll call, all
Aldermen present voted aye, Thereupon, Resolution No, 333
was declared finally passed and adopted,
RESOLUTION NO. 335,
Resolution No, 335, being a resolution transferring
certain funds of the city of Laurel, was presented and read.
It was moved by Alderman Vordahl and seconded by Alderman
Perry that said resolution be passed and adopted, Upon roll
call_, all Aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was
declared passed and adopted.

The City .Attorney was instructed to draw a contract
for the storage of the fire truck with Quilico Brothers for
approval at the next regular meeting of the City Council.
It was moved and seconded that we do now. adjourn,
The- motion carried. _
