The City Council of.the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called
to order by Mayor H, C. Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock P. ICI. June ?5, 1926.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:

Porter
Chamberlin
Gum
Perry
V or dahl
Graves
Hartley
The minutes of June lst were read and approved.
The Police Judgets corrected reports for the months
of April and May were read and approved.
The Water Commz.seionerIs report for the month of
April was reaAC and approved.
A Trust Receipt for $20,000.00 Liberty Bonds from the
to secure deposits

'First National Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota : t
in the Yellowstone Bank of Laurel was presented and read. It was
moved by Coy and-seconded by Perry that this be accepted as,
surety for said benk. The motion carried.
The matter of the pump house premises was discussed in
regard to the old buildings and shacks adjacent to the pump house.
The Mayor stated that Brohaugh had estimated expense of garage
at 4150,00. It was moved by Gum and seconded by Vordahl that he

The matter of gaveling :South First Avenue was discussed.
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Chamberlin that the City
propose to the business men that the City would buy the gravel'
if they would pay for spree-ding it. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the City Engineer be In-
structed to raise manholes between the. 'round house and the sewer
filter bed high enough to keep surface water out of the sewer,.
The motion carried.
It was moved and secen:d.ed: that we do now adjourn.. The
motion carried.
