Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Montana,
April. 12, 1926.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in Special
session in the Council Chamber in the Cite Hall to review the
returns of the election of April 5, 1926, and was called to order
by Mayor H, C, Knudsen at 8:00 o=clock P. Ml April L97, 1926,
Upon roll call, the following Alrmen answered present;
Chamberlin
Gum
Graves
Perry
Coy
The Mayor appointed Gum, Perry and Coy as tellers. After
reviewing the returns, the committee reported back the following
votes;
IV, E. Porter for AR'e-rman First Ward 22 votes
W, E. Chamberlin for A erman Second Yard 24
Nels Vordahl for Alerman Third Ward 60

Geo, , Graves for Alderman Fourth Ward 19
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Perry that the officers be
declared elected as follows; W. E Porter - ..derma. First Ward
Vii, E. Chamberlin, Alderman Second Ward.; Ne3?s y osd.ahl, Alderman
Third Ward, Geo. W. Graven, Alderman Fourth Ward; and that the
City Clerk be fmtt ated to issue certificates of eli ection
therefore. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn, The
motion carried.
