Upon ro ll call, the following Aldermen answered prearent:

The minutes of March 16th were reazl and approved.
The reports of the City reasturer, Chief of Police,
Police. Judge and Water Commissioner were read and approved.
The bills for the month of :March were re ferred to the
Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the commmittee
reported back rec ommending the payment of the foll owing bills:

recommendation that sane be conditionally allowed and the Clerk
be amth6rized to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment
thereof as soon as sufficient funds are available for payment
