Laurel, Montana,
March 2, 1926.
The City Council, of the City of Laurel, met-in, regular
session in. the Council Cbambe:r in the City Hail and was called
to order-by Mayor H. C. Knudsen at 8:00 o' clock P. M. March 2,
1926.

The minutes of February 16th were read and approved.
The repast of the Police Judge was read and approved.-
The report of the Police Officer was read:;- and`

The report of the City Treasurer was read and
approved.
The report of the Mater Coimiss ioner was read qnd
approved.
The bills for the month of February were referred to
the Finance Committee. After due deliberation, the committee
reported back recommend ing the payment' of the following bills:

The Committee reported approval of the following bills with the
recommendation that same be conditionally allowed and the Clerk
be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment
thereof as soon as sufficient funds are available for payment
thereof, but not otherwise:

it was moved and seconded that the report of the committee be
adopted and that warrants be issued in the manner recommended
by the committee, The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the bills of City Water Dept*
of $5.50, Laurel Auto.. Supply CQ# of $17.80, Laurel Outlook of
$5.50, Vera Sturm of $60.00 be paid out of the Operating Fund.
The motion carried.

The City Council of , the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called: to
order by Mayor H, C. :Knudsen at 8:00 o; hloek P. TV1. March 16, 1926.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present-

The minutes of March 2nd were read and approved.
The committee that had been appointed to investigate
prices on wagon and tank, recommended that purchase of a wagon
and tank from 0. tonne far 0155,00, It was ,moved and seconded l
Phat the report of the. committee 'be adopted and the Mayor and
City Clerk be authorized to purchase them. The motion carried.
The committee also recommended that the price for the
re.tal of the water tank be fi d. at 25V per hour for those living
outside of the 6ity' for the pr6sent. It was moved by Coy and
seconded by Graves that this price be authorized. The motion
carried.

J. F. .Auel of Minneapolis at V1..10 with discount of 16 and 2%.
It was moved by CoV and seconded by Graves that the report of the
committee be adopted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be
authorized to purchase the hose referred to. The motion carried.
A duplicate receipt from the City Treasurer to the ?
Midland National Bank for $;1000.00 and Security Trust and Savings
Bank for tI000.00, Liberty Bonds, to secure deposits in excess
of $-10,000600 already covered by each of the said banks were
presented and read. It was moved by COY and seconded by Gum that
they be approved. The motion carried.
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Porter that the
folx owing places be named as voting places for the ensuing
election:
First Ward- Mrs. Julia Brohaugh,residence.
Second Ward- City Hall
Third Ward, Smith's Vulcanizing Shop.
Fourth lard- N P. Hotel..
The motion carried.
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Hartley that
the following be appointed Judges and Clerks of election:
First Ward:
Judges Ellen M. Hall, H 0. Gunter, Ida L, Miller.
