Feb 2 , 19 26 , The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to order by Mayor H. C. Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock P. M. February 2 19260 Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: Coy Chamberlin Wold Graves Perry Bartley The minutes of Jatiuary 19, 1926, were read and approved. The report of the Police Judge was read.. It was moved by Wol:d and seconded by Perry that the report be approved as read. The motion carried. The report of the Police Officer was read. It was moved by Coy and seconded by Chamberlin that the report be ap- proved as read. The motion carried. The bills for the month of January, 3926, were re- ferred to the Finance Committee.'' Gum being absent, the Mayor appointed Perry to serve in his place. Price 41065 It was moved and seconded that the report of the comm ittee be adopted and that warrants be issued in the manner rec ommended by the committee. The motion carr ied. The Clerk reported that the Ra#Xroad Men' s Banff. had uested use of the City reo Hall for bane' practice Thur sday , nights. It was moved by Coy and seconded by Graves that they be granted permission to use it wi thout any charge. The motion carried. JI. Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Laurel, Montana: Feb. 2, 1926, 4 Mr>. Stockdals appeared before the City Council arse; discussed wagon and tank for water ha-qling purposes. After some discussion, it was moved by old ,and seconded ?y Coy that Perry and Chamberlin be instructed.to,'onsider the purchase of the tank and wagon. The motion carried, .It was moved by Coy-and seconded by Hartley that the same committee recommend, at the next regular meeting of the City Council., a price to be charged for the use of the water" tank. The motion carried. A bid from the Julius Pearce Fire Equipment Supply Rompany of Denver for rubber hose was read. After some di's - cussion, it was deaiddd to defer action on the hose until the next regular meetih.g of the City Council in order that prices be obtained from o"ther supply houses;. It was moved, by.Wold-and seconded by Hartley that the City Clerk be, instructed to purchase four gas fillers :and two slow closing nozzles. she motion carried:. A proposal for a Highway Patrol was submitted- to the Council.. After some discussion, it was` moved by Coy and seconded 'by Chamberlin that the matter be tabled. The motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 326. Resolution No 326, being a resolution transferring certain funds of the City of Laurel, was read. It was moved by Wald and seconded by Perry that said resolution be passed. and adopted, e`?.Sl call _ail Aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
