Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Laurel, Montana, Apri l ll, 1927 The City Council of the City of Laurel met in Special Session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall to review the ' returns of the election of April 4, 1927, and to consider bills not allowed at the meeting of April 5t 1927, and was called to order by Mayor R. E. Coy at 8:00 o'clock P. M. April 11, 1927, Upon roll Ball, the following Aldermen answered present: Porter Laird Gum Chamberlin Perry Vordahl Hartley Graves, The Mayor appointed Laird, Porter and Chamberlin as tellers. After reviewing the returns of the election, the com- mittee reported beck the following Votes Nets Vorahl, for Mayor, 131 votes TT Ii James Kueer, 223 TT R. E. Schultz Ti if TT 6 , 1 IT Smoky Schultz, it IT I1 It was moved by Gum and seconded by Graves that the report of the committee. be adopted and the officers be declared elected as follows James Kucera, Mayor, R. E. Coy, Alderman First Ward; E. A. Gulm, Alderman Second W?rd Charles Perry, Alderman Third Ward; John Hartley, Alderman Fourthlwa,rd; Vera Sturm, Treasurer; R. J w lliams, Police Judge; and that the City Clerk be in- structed to issue certificates of election therefor. The motion carried. i Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Laurel, Montana, April 11, 1927, The bill of the Yellowstone. Garage for $18,00, which had been itemized, was presented. It Was moved by Hartley and seconded by Perry that the bill be allowed., The motion carried. The bill of R. A. Holly for `'75.40 was presented. It was moved by ferry and seconded by Graves that the Mayor and City .Attorney be authorized to make a settlement, The motion carried.
