The minutes of December 21, 19261# were readrand approved.
The report of the City Treasurer was read.. It was moved
by Gum and seconded by Perry that the report be approved. The
motion carried.
The report of the Police Officer was read, It was
moved by Coy and seconded by Gum that the report be approved, The
motion carried,
The report of the Police Judge was read. It was moved
by Perry and seconded by Coy that Ili-obe referred back for correction.
The motion carried,
The bills for the month of December, 1926, were referred
to the Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee
reported back recommending the payment of the following b ills,

It was moved and seconded that the report of the committee be
accepted and that warrants be issued in payment thereof. The
motion earried,

Bartholf for $5,00 and Vera Storm for $50,00 be paid out of the
Operating Fund, The motion carri ed.
The Clerk stated that the contract for the Fontana
Power Company for Light and Fewer had expired. It was moved by
Coy and seconded by Vordahl that the Clerk be instructed to call
for bids for a period of five years, The motion carried:

A committee, composed of residents of the south side,
appeared before the Council and requested that something be done.
immediately to take care of the-water on the streets caused-by
the overflow of irrigation ditches. Mr, Larham, Mr, Fenton., Mr.
Brown and Mr, Carter spoke in behalf of the men using the water
and promised to put in a dam immediately to prevent the water
from coming down their ditches and promised to put in a permanent
headgate in the spring.
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Gum that we do now
adjourn. The motion carried.
