session in the Council: Chamber in the City Hall and was called
to order by Mayor dames.Kucera at 8 00' o'clock P. M. Tuesday
December 18, 19280
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:
Gum
Chamberlin
Perry
vordahl
Graves
Hartley
The minutes of December 4th were read and approved,
C. H. Rutter appeared before the. Council asking that

was `referrret to the Street and 'Alley Committee for their report at
-? the next regular meeting of the City Council,
Mr. Ebe-rsviller, Mr.-Horning and Mx. Davis appeared be-
fore the Council to protest. the drainage ditch at the west City
Limits. The matter was referred to the Street and Alley Committee
and they were requested to meet with the County. Comm.issi one-Ta o
Saturday December 22nd.
The Water Committee filed a report in which they re com-
Tklended that there be no change made An the water rates at this time.
It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Gum that the report be ac-
cepted and placed on file. The motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 355
Resolution No, 3559 being a resolution transferring cer-
tain funds, was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and
seconded by Graves that the kesolu.tion be passed. The motion
carried

ORDINANCE No, 294.
.. ordinance No. 294, being an ordinance defining milk and certain milk
products, etc., prohibiting the sale of adulterated milk, requiring
the license for the sale of milk and milk products, the inspection
of dairy farms and milk planes, the testing, labeling, distribution
and sale of milk and milk prod ots;_ fixing penalties for the vio-
lation of this ordinance, and declaring an emergency. After some
discussion, it was referred to the Committee on Eire and Police.
After due deliberation, the committee reported back recommending its
i anediate passage. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Graves
that the report of the committee be adopted and that the unanimous
consent and vote of the Council be had to place Ordinance No. 294
upon its immediate passage. Upon roll call, all Aldermen present
voted aye, It was moved by Gum and seconded by V'7eber that said
Ordinance no. 294 be passed and adopted. Upon roll call., all Alder-
ment present voted. aye and said Ordinance- was declared passed and
adopted.
It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Gum that the Fire
and Police Committee make armangements with the Yellowstone Garage
for housing the City Fire Truck, effective the ist of the year!
under the usual contract. The motion carried.
It was moved by V or dahl and seconded by Gum that we do
now adj ourn,
