October 2, 1928.
The City Council of the Cite of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Mall and was called to
order by Mayor James Kucera at 8:00 o'clock P. M. October 2, 19280
Upon roll call, the f ollow ing Aldermen answered present:
Perry
Gum
Chamb er lin
Graves
Vor Bahl
The minutes of September 18th were read and approved,
The report of the City Treasurer was presented and read.
It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Perry that the report be
approved. The motion carried.
The report of the police Officer was presented and read.
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Graves that the report be
approved. The motion carried.
The report of the Rater Commissioner was presented and
read. It was moved by Gum and seconded by Chamberlin that the
report be approved. The motion carried,
The bills for the month of September were referred to the
Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee reported
back recommending the payment of the following bills:

It was moved by Perry and seconded 'by Graves that the report of the
committee be adopted and that warrants be issued in the manner
recommended by the Committee. The motion carried.
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Graves that the bill of
11ontana Power Company for ?p4.20, Herbert Bailey for $14.50, John
Fry for 0 105,00, James Rollman for 06,00, H. E. Hertrert for
4115,00, Herbert Bailey for $4.25 and Anderson Motor Company for
X24,66 be paid out of the Operating Fund. The motion carried.
After some discussion of the delinquent licenses, it
was moved by Graves and seconded by Chamberlin that the Fourth
quarter license be waived and the City Treasurer, City Attorney
and Police Officer be requested to collect delinquencies, The
motion carried,

was going to return.
It was moved by Perm and seconded by Gum that a do
now adjourn.. The motion carried.
