Laurel, Montana,
August 22, 1928.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in adjourned
regular session in the Council Ohbmber in the City Hall and was
called to order by Mayor James Kucera at 8:00 o'clock P. 111,
August 22, 1928.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;
lion
Chamberlin
Vordahl
Hartley
Perry
Graves
The minutes of August -7th were read and approved.
This being the time set for receiving bids for the
construction of sidewalk on Ohio, Idaho Avenues and First Street,
I' the Clerk was instructed to open and read all bids submitted.
The only bid submitted was that of Harry Benninger. Hsbd
22¢ per square foot for sidewalk and $1.50 per cubic yard for
grading. It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Perry that
the contract be awarded to Penninger and that the mayor era. d
City Clerk be authorized to enter into a contract with him. The
motion carried.
After some discussion of the cross walks on First
Street, it was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Perry that the
crossing on First Street be located in line with the west side
of Ohio Avenue, extended. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn,
