Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Montana,
July 17 , 1928.

The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and, was called
to order by Mayor James Kucera at 8:00 P. M, July 17, 1928.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;
Weber
Gum
Perry
V o rdahl
Graves
Hartley
The minutes of July 3rd were read and approved..

Mr. Kelly, representing the Holders of Bonds for ?
Special Improvement Lighting District No. 2, appeared before the
Council and offered a compromise settlement providing the City
Council would increase the ' lev
It was moved by V'ord.ah.l and seconded by Hartley that no action
be taken. The motion carried.
Mr. Fly, Tom Wortz, Mr. Whittaker and Mr. Cruthh.er
appeared before the Council and. requested that the City lay
an inch or one and one- carter inch pipe line t' blocks west
of Fii Avenue on S-tree-t. They proposed to pair all
expenses necessary for he connection. It was moved by Perry
and seconded by Hartley, t hat `the Water Commission' be authorized
to extend the line yarthem

It was moved; by Gum and seconded by Perry that we do
now adjourn. The motion carried.
