Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Montana,
Apr i 1 9, 19 28
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in special
session in the-Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to
order by Mayor James Kneera at 8:00 o'clock P. M. April 9, 1928,
to review the election returns of the. Election of April 3, 1928.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;
Perry
Graves
Chamberlin
Hartley
Vor dahl
The Mayor appointed Perry, Hartley and as
tellers,
After reviewing the returns of the election., the com-
mittee reported back the following votesz
W. E. Porter for Alderman' First Ward 16 rotes
W. E. Chamberlin for Alderman Second Ward 21
Eels Vordahl for Alderman Third hard aA
0. M. Wald for Alderman Third Ward 1 ?
Geo. Graves for Alderman Fourth Yard 17
J, A. Hartley for Alderman Fourth Ward 1
It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Chamberlin that the re-
port of the committee be adopted end,the; officers' be declared
as follows
WO E. Porter, Alderman First Ward,
W. E. Chamberliu.;,Alderman Second Turd.
Nels Vordahl, Alderman Third Ward..
Geo. Graves, Alderman Fourth Turd,
and that the City Clerk be instructed. to isane certificates of
election therefore. The motion carried.
It was moved and seoonded that_ we do now adjourn. The
motion carried.
