Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Lontana,
January 17, 19 28 .
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the City Hall and was called to order by Mayor James
K-acera at 8-.00 o'clock P. IV1. Tuesday, January 17, 1928.
Upon roll call., the following aldermen answered present:
Weber
Gunn
Chamberlin
Perry
V o r dahl
Graves
Hartley
The minutes of January 3rd were read. It was moved by
Vordahl and seconded by Perry that the minutes be approved, The
motion carried,
a cornm-onication from the fire Department in :regard to
Bob Thomson as a member was referred back for correction,
The conLniittee appointed to consider the repairing of
.11 reported reco=nend.ing the improvements in the

a,zoli-nt of 1,31500.00, It was moved by Ferry and seconded by
Vordahl that the report be adopted. The motion carried. The
1, ayor stated that he vlould leave the same corlnittee standing
i?.ntil the work is completed.
A corunittee appo i.n.ted to investigate the buying of
a grader recuested. Further time ! which was granted,
It vas moved by Vo-rd.ahl and seconded 'by 1eber that we
do now adjourn.* The motion carried.
