Tway June, 1929 , I Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present, Porter Chamberlin Perry Vordahl Graves The minutes of May 21st were read and approved. The report of the City treasurer was presented and read. It was moved by-Chamberlin-and seeende4 by P®rry that Perry that the report be approved. The motion Carried The report of the Chief of Peliee was presented and read. 1 at was moved by ravesca r edebnde.d by VQrdahl that the report be pp . The report of the Police Judge was presented and read. .It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Graven that the report be approved. The motion 4arried. The b ills for the month of May were referred. to the Finance Committee. and after due deliberation the Committee rep orted back reeommending the -payment of the following bills y_ Cont. J. williame 22,:5 j Billings Gas Go4... 20091 The committee reported approval of the following bills -with the recommendation that same be conditionally allowed and the Clerk be authorized to drava waxrants upon the proper funds an p ayment thereof ae soon as sufficient funds are available for payment thereof, but not otherwset D;i W E. tupper $120.00 It was moved by Perry and seconded by Vordehl that the report of the, committee be accepted and that warrants be issued in the manner i recommended by the committee. I i i i I i I Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Laurel Montana., June 4, 1929, it was moved by Perry and seconded by Vordahl that the bill of Montana Power Co. for $9.74, Laurel Outlook for $104.25, American Surety' Co. for 1.90.00, Sande Drug Co. for $25.92, H. E. Herbert for $2050, Dr. G. E. Thomas for $5040, Herbert Bailer for $24.911, Anderson Motor Co, for $20,00 and E. L. Fenton for . $67.50 be paid out of the operating Fund. The motion carried. After some discussion., it was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Porter that the City Clerk be instructed to write the State Board of Health to see if it- would be possible to get the one cow daries inspected. The motion carried. After some diseussion,of a tr&ffie:? ordinance, it was moved by Perm and seconded by Graves that an ordinah;?e be drafted. The motion carried. Thereupon, the Mayor named the Street and Alley and Police Committees to 'draft an ordinance, It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Porter that Perm be named chairman of the joiht Committee. The motion carried. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Graves that we do now adjourn. The motion carried. Approved this ? day of ATTEST ??rv ty erk.
