The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular, session in the Council. Chamber in the City Hall and was called to order by Mayor James Kuceraa at 8:00 W cldek P. M, Tuesday November 18, 19ZO o Upoi; roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: Perry Chamberlin Barney Brohaugh Graves Hartley Vordahl The minutes of November 4th were read and approved. ORDII "0 CE NO., .303. Ordinance No. 3039 being an, ordinance providing for the receiving of bids and the letting of a contract for the construction of.improvements in Special Improvement Parking .District Ho, 1, was presented and read. after some, discussion, it was referred to a committee consisting of Brohapgh, Barney and Chamberlin and after due deliberation, the committee reported buck recommending its immediate passage. It was moved by Barney and seconded by Chamberlin that the report of the committee be adopted and that the unanimous consent and vote of the Council be had to place Ordinance No. 303 upon its immediate passage. Upon roll call, all Aldermen presentevoted aye. It was moved by Barney and seconded by Chamberlin that said Ordinance No. 303 be passed and adopted. Upon roll.call, all Aldermen present voted aye and said ordinance was declared passed and adopted. ORDINANCE NO. 304 Ordinance No. 304,,being an ordinance providing far, the receiving of bids and the letting of a contract for the construction of improvements in Spe.dial Improvement District No. 68, was presented and read. After some discussion, it was referred to the Street and Alley Committee and after due de- liberation, the committee reported back recommending its immedi- ate passage. It was moved by Perry and seconded by Brohaugh that the report of the. oomxnittee be adopted and that the unanimous consent and vote of the Council be had to place Ordinance ado. 304; upon its immediate passage. Upon roll gall, all Aldermen present voted aye. It was moved by Perry and seconded by Brohaugh that said Ordinance No. 304 be passed and adopted- U on roll call, all Aldermen present voted aye and said ordinance was declared 1. passed and adopted. After some discussion in reg4rd to the tax for Nutting ? Drain, it was moved by Vordahl: and seconded by Perry that the matter be referred to the City Attorney for investigation. The -motion'-carried. Mr. H. 0. Bray requested permission to conetruot'a one story log or frame cottage approximately 20 x 36 feet and a garage of the same material 12 x 20 feet on Lots8, 9 and 10, l Block 79 East Laurel, It was moved by Perry and seconded by Chamberlin that the permit be granted.
