The_ City Council of the City of Laurel met in regalar
session in the Council Ghaai6er in the GityRA11 was Bailed to
order by Rayor Jaws K.aera at 8:00 o'clock P. M. Tuesday September
l6 1934.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered pre"nt,;

Barney
Chamber liYi
Vordahl
Perm
Graves
The minutea of September 2nd were read and approved.
Mr. Frank Wright appeared before the Goinoil regard
to license on'Rollpr Skating Rinks. er some discussion, it

Rev. Y. B. Shevlin appeared before the City Gouaoil in ?I
regard to grater rents for his estab iebment, The natter VhXs re-

Mr. Wade Nelson appeared before the Council in :zogard

Tupper as Health- icer was presented and read.- It was moved
by Barney and seconded by ObambeiI!Iin that his resignation be
accepted. The motion carried.
The yor appointed Dr. R. Broughton was Health ,Off, eer.
It was moved by VQrdahl and seconded by Srshaugh that the, appoint-
ment be approved. The motion carried.
A bill in the amount of .22,75 Zil?itby?--was he e.a?truotion -of
a prase ®alic and. alley oroesing by 2. R. presented.
It was moved by Vordahl and seeonded by Perry that the bill be 1
allowed. The motion carried. ;
