The City Council of the City of Laurel met . in adlo ned
regular meeting in the `Council Chamber in the City Hall and was
called to order- by Mayor James" Sgeexa.: at 8:00 o'clock F. M.
Thgrsday February 20th, 19300
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:

The amended eontract for the Laurel oil and Refining
Company was presented and read. ` After some discussion, it was
moved by' Graves and seconded by Barney that the contract be
and City Clerk instructed to sign it.

It was moved by Re-rry and seconded by Chamberlin that
the bid of Smith .agineering Company' for the construction of an
addition to the pump house, including cutting door and removal
of excess material be Accepted, The motion parried.
A contract between the City of Laurel and Smith
Company was presented and read. It was moved by

and seconded by Hartley that the Mayor aad. City Clerk
be instructed to 'ex-acute contract, The motion carried,
It was moved by Perry. and seconded by Graves that we
