The City Council of the City of Laurel met in Special
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall to consider the
furnishing of grater to the.Laurel Oil and Refining Company and
was called to order by Mayor James gu.oera at B-00 o" elocg P. 11.
January 16, 1930,
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered: present;
Brohaugh
Porter
Chamberlin
Barney
Vardahl
Perry
The Laurel Oil and Refining Company was represented by
IZT . Diescher, :fir. Lipman, KT* union and Mr. Johnston.
Mr. Diescher spore before the Council and outlined
their need and submitted a proposition. After .a brief inter-
Val, he dictated a letter outlining the proposition. 'It.was
moved by Barney and seconded by Chamberlin that his proposition
be referred to the 'dater Committee for report at the next regular
meeting of the City Council.
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Chamberlin that
we do now adjourn. The motion carried.
