The City Council' of the City of Laurel met in adjourned'
regular session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was
called to order by Mayor James K:uceratat 8:00 o'clock: P, M. Tuesday
February 24, 1931.
Upon roll call, the following Aida men answered present:
Bray
Barney
Chtaberlim
Perry
Ito rdah
Graves
It was moved by Perry and seconded by Vordahl that W. 0.
Taprath be permitted to connect_ with the 'City water main upon enter-
ing into a contract with the City. The motion carried.
An application for a permit from F. B. Jacobson. to build
a frame residence an First Avenue was presented and read. It was
moved by Vordahl and seconded by Perry that the `permit be granted.
The motion carried.
Mr. G. W. Fenton, Postmaster of Laurel submitted an ap-
plioation for a permit to stand a mail bog. on the sidewalk in front
of the postoffiee. it was mewed by Barney and seconded by Vordahl
that the temporary permit be granted with,a request that the past
master provide fxrom for the box within the postoffice building.
the motion carried.
The City Attorney was instructed to notify Mrs. Minnie
Miller that hor outside t_bi:let had been condemned by the City Health
Officer and that the same would have to be removed by June 1, 1931.
It was moved by gordahl and seconded by Perry that we do
.now adjourn. The motion carried,
