order by Mayor R. Broughton at 8:00 o'clock p. M, Tuesday
December 6, 1932.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;

The report of the chief of :police was presented an d., read.
It was moved by Chamb erlin and seconded by Hartley that the report
be approved. The mot ion carried , i
The report of the City Treasurer was presented and read. '
It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Porter' that the repo it e ,
approved. The motion carried.
The report of the City Clerk for September was pre sented 4
and read. It was moved by Vorda hl and seconded by Dull that the
report be approved. The motion carried.
The bills for the mont h of 11ovember were referred to the
Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee reported

It was moved by Porter and seconded by Chamberlin that the report
of the Committee be accepted and that warrants be issued in the
manner recommed.ed by the Committee. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the following bills be
held over for an opinion by the Gity attorney,

An application for license to operate the S. 01 S.
Garage by 'Skauge and Olson was presented and read. It was moved
by Hartley and seconded by Clink that the request be granted and
that the City Treasurer be authorized to issue license. The motion I'

An application by J. Z. Hodges to connect to the water
service line of A, hi. Olafson and H. G. Bradley, along with the j
statement from Bradley and Olafson that they were willing for him
to connect on the line, was -presented and read. It was moved by
Huxless and seconded by Chamberlin that the consent of LT. Bradley
approved. The motion Barried It was moved b

Chamberlin and seconded by LRurless that J. L. :dodges be permitted
to attach to their service and extend to his property at the north
City L-imits. The motion carried.
An application fox a. permit to erect Christmas trees,
along the street, signed by the merchants was presented and read.
It was moved by Hurlese and seconded by Bray that the permit be
granted. The motion carried,
A application by E. A. Gum for a permit to construct a
chicken hotLae on LQ is 11 and 12, Block 20, Laux e 1 Heights Sabdivis ion,
was presented and read. It was moved by Bull and seconded by Chamber-
lin that'the'permit be granted. The motion carried,

A contract for an. easement from L. A. Nutting 1dr, and hlrs.
Parish was presented and read: It was moved by Bull an? seconded
by'Ha7rtleg that the contract be appxoved. The motion carried.
After some discussion- of a pound, it was moved by pull
and seconded by Chamberlin that the Chief of Police be authorized
to locate a suitable building or garage for that purpose. The
motion carried.
The report of the Health` Of'fieex was presented and read. ?
It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Porter, that the report be
approved. The motion 'carried.

a. M. Harp was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and
seconded by Hurless that his request be granted and the City
Treasurer °be 'authorized to issue license. The motion carried.
An application for license to operate a pool hall by
Frank Jacobs was presented and read. It was moved by Click and
seconded by Vordahl that the request be granted and the City
Treasurer be authorized to issue license. The motion carried..

Freebury .Brothers was presented and read. It was moved by Voxdahl
and seconded by Bray that the request be granted and that the

n-' strueted t_o-eall"•the roll. Upon roll call, Bray, Click, Vordahl
and.Hurless voted aye and Porter, Chamberlin, Dull and Hartley
voted no. Thereupon, the Mayor voted no. The motion was lost.
An application by S. E. Anderson for a license to
operate a pool hall was presented and read. It was moed by
'Vordahl and seconded by Chamberlin that the matter be tabled on
1 account of two application for one building. The motion carried.

It was moved by Hartley and seconded bar Dull that the
Council reconsider the application of Frank Jacobs for a license
to operate a pool hall. Upon roll call, Bray, Click, Vordahl and
Hurless voted no and sorter, Chamberlin, Dull and Hartley voted
aye. Thereupon, the ','V,ayor voted aye. the motion carried.
It was moved by vordehl and. seconded by Click that
Frank Jacobs' request for a license to operate a pool hall be
granted and that the City Treasurer be authorized to issue a
license. Upoia roll call, Bxay, Click, Vordahl and Hurless
voted eye and Porter, Ghambexlin ;dull and Hartley voted no.
Thereupon, the grlayox voted no. -1he 'motion was lost.
It was moved by ball and seconded by Click that the
Council reconsider the application of Freebury Brat,hers foraa'
license to operate a pool hall. The motion carried..
It was moved by Dull and seconded by Hartley that the
Contrail reconsider -the application of a. m. Harp 'for a license
to operate a pool hall, The motion carried.
Mr. Vor dahl was excused.
It was moved by Click and seconded by ,Tarter that all
applications for pool hall licneses be tabled. The motion carried'.
The Finance Committee requested further time to report

on stores, other than jewelry stores, selling clocks andewelxyt
which was granted.
It was moved by Hurless and seconded by Chamberlin that
we do now adjourn. The motion carried.
