Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Iontana,
July 29, 1932.
The City Council Of'-the City of Laurel met in special
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall to consider the
buying of City bonds and was called to order by Mayor R. Broughton
at 8:00 o'clock P. 1J.' Friday July 29, 1932.
Upon roll call the following Aldermen answered present;
Bray
Porter
Chamberlin
Vordahl
Hartley
Dull
The City Treasurer reported that B. Iii. Barris, Pres.
of the Yellowstone Bank, had requested a fixm bid on 192,3 Water
Works bonds. After some discussion, it was moored by Dull ax&
seconded by Bartley that the mayor and City Treasurer be author-
ized to submit a bad for. twenty thousand dollars worth of,1923
WaterWorts bonds at 70%, bid to hold good nnti.l august 10, 1932
The motion carried..
It-was moved by vordahl and seconded oy Dull that we
do now adjourn. The motion carried.
