The bids were referred to the dater Committee ano- after due delibera- tion the Committee reported back recommending the purchase of 810, of 6" cast iron pipe and two Tees from the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company at $.971 per fit. for the pipe and $10.35 each for the Tees., and one hydrant from the Rensselaer Valve company for $55.25 and two gate vanes at 20.75 each, providing. that the Civil Works j Administration fail to approve any other projects but in ease any other project be approved by the QWA on Nev. 29th that the City 1 Glerkr be instructed to readvertise for bids for the same amount and fox' a greater amount, bids to be accepted until 8:00 of elock P.11. 1 Tuesday vecemoer 5th,_ 1933. It was moved .by. Bu11 and seconded by Bray that the report of the orr ties be adopted... The motion carried. An outline of projects presented by the, different Gammittees from the City Council was presented and read. it was moved by Law and seconded by Dull that the ptojects outlined by the Committee be adopt- ed and - that the Mayor and his assistants request the projects as out- lined The motion carried.
