The City Oounoil of the City of yau.rel met in regular session in the G6uno it Chamber in th'e City 'Hall and was called to order by Mayor 'H Br oughton at 8: 00 o t clock P . Tuesday November 7. 1933. Upon roll call, the following; Aldermen answered present : Brad Porter Chamberlin Law Vordahl Reardon Dull Conrad' The minutes of Oct-obey 17th were read and approved. The report of the City Treasurer for themonth of October was presented- and read, It was moored by Chamberlin and seconded by Reardon that the report be approved The motion carried. The report of the City Clerk for the month of October was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Bray that the report be approved. The 'motion carried. The report of the Chief of police for the month of Oct- Ober was presented and read. It was moved by pull and seconded by Vordahl that the reporV.-be approved. The motion carried. The report of the J?olice judge for the month of October was presented and read. It was moved by Chamberlin and seconded by Vordahl that the report be approved. The motion carried. The report of the Health Officer for the month of October was presented and `read.. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by bial that the report be approved. The motion carried. An 'application for license to operate a sandwitch shop by John Jil, .chalse was presente&. aao& read. it- ways moved by Dull and seconded by Vordahl that the roque.st _be granted and that the City Treasurer be authorized to issue license. The motion carried. An application for license to operate `the Valley Grocery I?- by C. 0. Larson was presented and read. it was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Dull that the request be granted and that the Cite Treasurer be authorized to issue license. The motion carried. .After some discussion of the (lase alarm occasioned by the short in the wiring for the siren it was moved by Law and sec ondedd by hail that the Montana Power Company be billed for $40450 being the amount of the Fire Department claim for call. The mo- tion carried. The bills for the month of October were referred to the Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee report- ed back recommending -the payment of the following bills: A. '77.50 The PJiQntana Power Co. 123.00 It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Buhl that the report of the Committee be accepted and-that warrants be issued in the man- ner recommended by the Committee. The motion carried. After some discussion of the water problem the City Engineer was instructed to confer with the State Board of Health' and the Board of Fire Underwriters. After same discussion in regard to the box car for grain storage at 0. M. Mold Farm Implement Co. building on the railroad rightofway, it was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Porter that the matter be referred-to the comittee on Fire & Police`. The motion carried. It was moved by Dull and seconded by Voxdahl thatwe do now adjourn. The motion carried. Approved this 21st day of Rovemb'er 33. i
