Minutes of the City Council 4 Laurel
Laurel, Montana,
September 14, 1933.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in special
session in the Council. Chamber in the City Hall and was called
to order by ayor li, Broughton at 8:00 oT cloct P. M. Thrusday
September 14, 1933, to consider the water worts problem and Fed-
eral Loan and other business matters suitable for handling at this
meeting.
Upon roll call the following Lldeimen answexed present;

Mr. Beighley appeared before the City Council. The

Lion of J. D. Norris reported recommending that his application.
for license be denied. It was moved by Lae and seconded `by
Chamberlin that the report of the Committee be adopted and the
Committee be dismissed and that license fox ID!. Norris be dexaied.
The motion carried. Thereupon an applicati on for license by.
R. Beighley to operate the W =B Cigar Store was presented and 'read.
It 'was moved by Late and seconded by pull th at the request be grant-
ed and the City Txeasurer be authorized 'to issue license. The mo-
tion carried.
The matter of a storage reservoir and pipe line north of
town were discussed at length. It was move d 'by Law and sacoiided
by Dull that we do now ad.j ouxn for furthex study of the dater
PrQblem. The motion carried.
