The City Council of the City of Laurel met in
Special' session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall
to hear protests on the budget for the ensuing year and was
called to order by Mayor R. Broughton at 8.00 o'clock p, 1,a.
'4ednesday August -9, 1933.
Upon roll call the following Aldermen answered
present:
Bray
Porter
Chamberlin
Law
Voidahl
Heardon
Hartley°
Dull
The City Clerk produced proof of publication of
notice of the meeting for hearing protests on the budget
for the ensuing year. After reviewing the budget, it was
moved by Voraahl and seconded by Dull t?iat the budget be

It was moved and seconded that we do nou aajou-Tn.
The motion carried.
