Broughton at 8:00 0' clack P. M. Tuesday May 1P, 1933. Upon Toll call, the following Aldermen answered present; Porter Bray r haw chamherlin Vor dah . Reardon Hartle Dall The minutes of May Zn,d were read and approved. fir; J,, L.. Hodges appeared before the Oty Council in regard to placing cinders on Idaho Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets. After song dipcussion, it was moved by Hartley and see- o3%de,d I)$ `Heardom. that tie property owners and interested persons be permitted to place cinders on the street.- The matien carried. A letter from the. Cody Club relative to a sign at the intersecti6n of n Street and First Avenue was read. After some discusal6n it was moved by Yardahl and seconded by Dull that the matter be referred to the Stmtigt and Alley Eommi.ttee and the City Engineer. After some discussion, it was moved by Hartiey and a conded by Dill that the Mayor and City Attorney be instructed to get a different company. Th& mati©n carried. The Mayor reported that he had had a conversation with Mr. Smart in regard to the application of vile contract for water. The motion carried: The report of, the Health Officer was presented end read.; It was moved by Porter and seconded by Bray that the report be { approved.. Vie- motion carried. After some discussion of a ditder sidewall north of the Ice house on Colorado Avenue;, it was moved by, Dull and see ended by Hartley that the matter be. referred to the Street and Alley Committee. The motion carried. s The Street Commissioner was authorized to use H. C. West the rest of the week. A latter from the yaaxel Aq-unteer Fire Department recommending Frank Hartley to fill the vacancy left by B. J. Harris-was presented and read.
