Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, 11ontana,
April 18, 1933
The City Council of the Cite of Laurel met in regalar
session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall and was called
to order- by mayor H. Broughton at 8: 00 of cloct ?. U. Tuesday
April 18, 1933.
Upon roll call, the following aldermen aarzwered present:
Bray
Porter
Chamberlin
Hur ess
voxda;_1
Hartley
Dull
The minutes of March 23rd, April 4th. and 10th were read ji
and approved.
A request for a building permit-by Blmer Dinsmoore was
presented and read. it was moved. by Hurlers- and seconded b
Chamberlin that the request be granted and the Qity Clem anthw'-
ized. to issue building permit. The motion carried:.
A eoupunication regarding a Cody sign five feet by ,six
feet at the intersection of Main Street and. First Avenue rows pre-
sented and read.. It was moved by Vardahl and seconded by Hartley,
that the request be denied for that size sign and Gity Clexls in-
structed to inform them that the objections were to the size- of
sign. The mation carried.
An application to operate a Mesa Market by V.'-J. Stexmitz
was presented and read.. It Was moved --by'Verldaa and seconded by
Dull that the permit be gram.°ted and that the ??easurer be authar-
ized to issue license. Jae motion carried-.
It was mewed by Hartley and seconded' by pull that the
fire hydrants be painted. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn.. The
motion carried.
