Laurel, Montana,
February 28, 1933.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in special
session., to eonsider the report of the Committee that had been
appointed to recommend changes in salaries and wages, in the
Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to order by
Mayor R. Broughton at 8:00 o'clock P. M. February 28, 1933.
Upon roll call the following Aldermen answered present;
Porter
Bray
Chamberlin
Hu less
'for dahl
Hartley
Bull 1
The report of the Commmittee was read,
?_... Mr o Stewart Thornton appeared before the City Council
and discussed the drainage propositi®4 and stated that he would
think the proposition over.
The report of the Committee was Ordered read by pars-
graph.

It was moved by Pull and seconded by Vordahl that the
report of the Committee on salaries be adopted. The motion:

It was moved by Dull and seconded by Chamberlin that
the City Attorney be instructed to prepare ordinances in `accord- {
ante with the report of the Committee. The motion carried.
It was moved by Dull and seconded by Vordahl that the
report of the Committee on wages be adopted. The motion carried.
It was m,Qved by pull and seconded by Vordahl that the
report of the Committee be adopted in full. The motion carried.
After some discussion of Fire Department supplies, the
matter was referred to the Committee on lire and Police.
;the City Clerk was instructed to write the Gardner tail
& Refiner; Company and ask for plans and specifications.
it was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn and
that a meeting of t-he City Council be called for Wednesday, March
the lot at 7:00 o' clact P. M., to consider the ordinances rela-'
tive to salaxg changes. The motion carried.
