Broughton `at 8:00 o'clock P. M. January 3, 7.933. Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present Porter Bray Click Chamberlin Vordahl Hur less Dull The minutes of Leoember 20th were read and approved. The report of the City Treaeurer was presented and read.. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Click that the report be l approved. The motion oarried. The report of the City Clerk was presented and read. It was moved by Chamberlin and seconded by Lull that the report be approved. The motion carried. The report of the Chief of Police vas presented and read, • It was moved by Bull and seconded by Cliet that the report be ap- proved. The motion carried. The report of the Police Judge was presented and read. It was moved. by Chamberlin and seconded by Hurless that the report be approved. The motion carried. The report of the Health Officer was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded: by' Click that the report be approved. The motion carried. An application by H. G. B1atley to remodel his building at 403 E. Main St., whicsh had been damaged by fire was `presentee and read. it, was moved by Dull and seconded by Vordahl that his application be granted. The motion: carried. The bills for the month of December were referred to the Finance Committee and `after due deliberation the committee re-- ported back recommending the payment of the following bills; Henry Kaiser 6.75 H. 0. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by ClicIr that the report of the Committee be adopted and that warrants be issued in the manner recommended by the Committee. The motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 414. Resolution No. 414, being a resolution in lieu of the provision made in Resolution Flo. 384 heretofor passed by the Cite Council of the City of Lauxel, was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Iortex that said resolution be passed and adopted. Upon roll call, all aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and adopted. RESQLU ION NO. 415. Resolution No. 415, being a resolution transferring cer- tain fonds of the City of Laurel, was presented and read. It was moved by Voxdahl, and seconded by Bray that said resolution be passed and adopted. Upon roll call, all Aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and adopted. After some discussion of the fire of December 3rd, 1932, on East Main Street and the assistance rendered by the northern r Pacific .n.ailway Fire Department, it was moved by Poxter and sec- onded by Dull that the City Clem be instructed to express the ap- preciation of the City Council to them. The motion carried. After reviewing the correspondence with the State Highway Commissivn and the plan submitted by the ?orther acific Railway Company, it was moved by Dull and seconded by porter that the City the State Engineer be sent to' Helena to press this, matter 'with Highway commission. The City Attorney reported some progress made with the collection of iiceme. It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Dull that ire do new adjourn,. The motion carried.
