The minutes of February 6th were read and approved.
Olmstead and Mr. Packard appeared before the City

..FranK j;yl appeared before the City Bouncil in regard
to a water extension between Fifth and Sixth Street. It was moved
by Dull and seconded by Bray that the matter be referred to the
Mater Committee. Tie motion carried:
A petition for the graveling o the' road between Section
15 and 16 south of Moore?s corner was presented and read. It was
moved by Vordahl and seconded by yaw that the City Engineer mate
application through the County Cara ssioners' for the graveling of
this road. The motion carried,
An application from F. C. Seheideeker to operate a filling
station was presented"and read. It was moved by Ball and seconded
by Reardon that his request be granted` and that the City Treasurer
be authorized to grant 'a license. The motion carried.

license-fees was presented and read. The Committee on Fire and
Police recommended its passage. It was moved by Law and seconded

Vordahl and seconded by, Lau that the Ordinance be referred to a
Special Committee for recision for a report at the next meeting
of the City Council. T'`?e motion carried. Thereupon the Mayor
appointed gordahl, Conrad and Law.
Estimate_._N.o, .l : and final for the South side Water
Mains was presented and read. A motion was made by Vordahl azhd
seconded by Chamberlin that the estimate be approved. The
motion carried.
Estimate Vo. 1. and final for the Fourth Ward water
Mains was presented and read. It was moved by gordahl and
seconded by Reardon that the estimate be approved. The motion
carried,
Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Minutes of Feb. 20, 1934, cont.
An application by George A. Hall to move in some
box cars on Dots 9 and 10, Block 20, Laurel Heights Subdivis-
ion was presented and read. it was moved by Chamberlin and
seconded by Vord.ahl that the permit be denied. The motion
carried.
A request--by George Smith for a permit to move a
Pram garage on lot 2, Block 3, Laurel Realty Subdivision
was presented and read. After some discussion it was held
over until next meeting.
After,.some discussion the waste water across the
Billings Bench Water Association canal, it was moved by
Vordahl and seconded by Reardon that the City Attorney and
City Engineer be instructed to prepare a suitable contract.
After some discussion of water main replaeemem;t.,
it was moved--by , Vordahl and seconded by Dull that ttxb?atduth
three blocks on Third Avenue be replaced. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn.
The motion carried.
