The minutes of January 2nd were read and approved.
The report of the City Treasurer for the month of
December, 1932, was presented and read. it was moved by Vordahl
and seconded by Bray that the report be approved. The motion
carried.
An application to run a hotel in the Lennox Hotel by
Theo Tintinger was presented and read. 1t was moved by Lew and
seconded by Reardon that his request be granted and the City
Treasurer authorized to issue license. The motion carried.

Resolution No. 425, being a resolution transferring
dertain funds of the City of Laurel was presented and read. It
was moved by Chamberlin and seconded by yaw that said resolution
be passed and adopted. Upon, roll mall all Aldermen present
voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
RESOLUTION M. 42&.
Resolution No. 426, being a resolution levying and
assessing a tax upon all property in Main Street Water District
1933 of the City of Laurel, was presented and read.' it was moved
by Vordahl and seconded by Dull that said resolution be passed
and adopted. Upon. roll call all ,aldermen present voted aye and
said resolution was declared paassed and adopted."
Ira Rodgers appeared before the City Council and re- ?
ported that there were a number;-of property owners that were not
able to pay cash for their water service connections. After some
discsussion, the Mayor requested aldermen Dull and Conrad to
assist the Water Committee in determining any that might request
credit.

motion carried.
