The City Counci l of the City of Laurel met in reg- ular session in the Counc il Chamber in the City Hall and was called to order by layor R. Broughton at 8;00 o'clock P. 1T,1, Tuesday January 2, 1934. Upon roll call the following; Lldermen answered present; Porter Bray Chamberlin Law Vorda'f.l Hearden Dull ` -' Conrad The minutes of December 5th, 11th and 19th were read } and approved. ti `- The report of the police judge for the month of Dec- ember was presented and read. It was moved by Vordahl and sec- onded by Dull that the report be approved. The motion carried. the -report of tcae _Chief of Police for the month of December was presented and read. it was moved by Dull and see- onded by Vordahl that the report be approved. The motion carried. The -report of the city Treasurer for the month of Nov- ember was presented and read. It 1tas moved by Chamberlin and sec- onded by Conrad that tre report be approved. It was :coved by Vorda'a, and seconded by Dull that said resolution be passed and adopted. Upon roll call all Aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and adopted. FESOLU ION NO. 424. Resolution No. 424, being a. resolution transferring certain funds of the City of Laure l was presented and read. It was moved by Dull and-sec onded by Chamberl-in that said resole- tion be passed and adopte d. Upon roll call all Aldermen present voted aye and said resolu tion was declared passed and addopted. After some discussion -re garding a typewriter it was moved by Law and seconded by Porte r that the cash offer of $35400 by Peterson TypewZiter "Ex change be accepted. The motion carried'.
