M, December 3rd, 1935, ? Upon Roll Call the following aldermen answered 1 present: Sdwell Hartley Smith Conrad Brag Law gordahl The minutes of November 19th were read and approved. The Water Commissioner's report for the month of November was presented and read. It was moved by Conrad and seconded by Hartley that the report be accepted and placed. on file. The motion carried. The report of the Health Officer was presented and read. It was moved by Law and seconded by Bray Vha.t the report be accepted. The motion carried The report of the City Treasurer for the month of November was presented and read. It was moved by Conrad and seconded by Smith that the report be approved. The motion carried. The report of the Chief of Police for the month of Bovember waa presented and read. It was moved by Law and seconded by Conr-a.d that the report be accepted. The motion carried. The report of the Police Judge War the-month of November was presented and read. It was moved by Smith and seconded by Ldw that the report be accepted. The notion carried. The delinquent license report was presented and read. It was moved by Sidwell and seconded by Conrad that the report be aceepto'd and placed on file. The motion carried, Harry Penninger appeared before the Council in regard to his permit for the construction of a Neon Sign at the Yellowstone Motor OQ. with 35 ft. clearance. Smith moved that the permit be granted, the construction to be approved by the City Engineer. Mr. Penninger report- ed he would not be able to comply with the ;permit reading 35 ft clearance and asked for the permit as 50 ft. clearance. It was moved by law that the application be changed to read 30 ft clearnee instead of 35 ft as an amendment to the motion, Hartley seconded the Motion_ and it carried. Fred W. Graff asked for permit to add an addition to his house, tQ..coat arannd $1000.00. It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Conrad that the permit be granted. The motion carried, m. Hyronon asked for permit to Moa?ear. house 12 by 1.8 made oat of box ear lumber. After some discussion:, it was moved by law and seconded by Smith that the number of the logs on which house is to moved be further investigated. The motion carried. C . E. Pe rry asked for permit to build a sidewalk 5 ft wide on Barth side of Lot 159 Block 20 Hutting Subdivision', It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Sdweli that the permit be granted, The motion -carried. W.O.Baker asv-ed for permit to construct automobile repair shop and garage on Lots 10 in. Block 4, :East laurel, size to be 30 by 30. It was moved by Sdwell and seconded by' apt that the permit be held up and street committee and ...:plans ng boardAnvestigate further. The action carried. J.H.Graady asked for permit to build a garage12 by 20, to be built of b6x car `lumber and painted white on Lot 6 Block 24, laurel Realty Second slipe at 409 East 5th St. It was moved by law and seconded by Harty that the permit be granted. The, motion carried, Prank Platz appeared before the vounoil with complaints regarding the cutting -of trees and damage to dance hall and cabins,on five -acre tract used by Transient Gawp Mr. Price reported he had given instructions not to cut any more trees. Chairman Vordahl instructed the Park Committee to meet with Mr', Plats and investigs' the matter and report to the City- Council at next meeting, MT. Price reported no bids had been received on the Be- funding Bonds and suggested they try to sell locally, It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Bidwell that we do now adjourn. The motion carried.
