Minutes of the City.`Council of Laurel Laurel, MOnt4na, November 19, 1935 The City, Council of the City of Laurel, met in regular session in the 'Council Chambers in the City Half., and was called to order by the President of the Council lie-Is Vordahl et 7 bO I clock 2. M. November 1.9th,1935, Upon Roll Call tha following aldermen answered present. Bidwell Smith Hartley Conrad Bray Reardon Law Vordahl The minutes of November 5th were read and approved. The delinquent license report of the City Treasurer was presented and read, ,After some discussion it was moved by Hartley and seconded by Conrad that the report be approved and the City Treasurer, be instructed to collect delinquent license�'by the first of December. the motion carried. 1)x. Broughton appeared and presided during the remainder< of the meeting. Dr. Broughton reporter: that he had appointed H. .E. Herbert Deputy Sheriff of Yellowstone Counyt, to act as special city Police' without pay. It was moved by Hartley and seconded by Reardon that the appointment" be approved. The motion carried, An application by Henry I'. Frank to build a garage 12 by 18 foundation to be of car sills ; garage to be painted and finished,; on lots 6 and 7, Block 16, Laurel Realty Second Subdivision,, was ptesented and' read. It was moved by Lave and seconded by Vordahl that the permit be grunted. The motion carrie&O An. application by Harry Penn tiger of the Yellowstone Ca�age to install another gasoline pump beside the one already in, was presented, and read. After some discussion it was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Reardon that the permit be granted. The motion carried. Ordinance No, 342 Ordinance No 34Z being an Ordinance revising and amending Section 14 of Article l of Chapter 2 of Ordinance I40:. '228 of the Revised ordinances of the City of Laurel, relating to time of meeting of the city Council, Was presented .far final passage. It was moved by Law and seconded by Smith that- prd .n.ance No. 342 be given final passage and approval.. Upon Roll Call all aldermen present Iroted Aye and the; Mayor deolaxed-ardil.ance No 342 finally passed and approved; The Finance Committee' filed a report regarding the raa:se in Salary asked by Mr, Rigney:, City Engineer.. They recommended, that under , the circumstances- the ` City and, Mx. Rign.ey wau.ld be better sexvedi, ,in eon- tinning the present salary until July '1;. 1936., It was moved by,'Law and seconded by Vorda that the report be acdepted and placed on file.. V motion carried. y, ; .A letter -was read from Collison and Dolven. offering ,ta furnish gravel delivered at Gravel' pit at a price of. 1.5C per cub yard and delivered at Reservoir Sight at a price of, , l.7v pot cubic yard, and sand to, be delivered at 'gravel plant at 2 per cubic yard, .After - some discussion.;- it was moved by Vordahl. and seconded by Bxay that the city Clerk be authorized to purchase screened gravel delivered Reservoir at a prk e , of 1075 per cubic yard to' the amount of g,5004000 The motion carried. Resolution No. 452 resolution calling for payment can jay 1, -936 of 11, 4© 1916 Funding fronds, ,numbered from 5 to 13 and. 16' to 2fi., said bonds being dated Iuay 1, 1916, Optional April 1, 1g31 and on any interest date. thereafter and directing that Notice of Redemption and payment tie given, was presented and read.
