The City Council of the City of laurel, ]Wntana, met in
regalar session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, and was
called to order, by _Mayor R. Broughton at 8400 o'clock j?. K. August

The report of" the City Clerk for the month of July was
presented and read. .A motion was made by Vordahl and seconded by
Reardon that the report be approved. The motion carried,
The City TreasarerE s report of delinquent license was read.
. Henry Sahessler appeared before the Council relative to
the damage to his ice plant when the water was shut off the night of
August 8th. He presented a bill for $211.05 for damages. After some
discussion it was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Reardon that the
matter be referred %0 the Water Committee. 4motion carried,
A letter Mae read from L, 0-1,_0 aswell regarding his
delinquent license.
,A letter was read, from Mr. B. M. Harris,Bresident of the
Yellowstone Bank relative to the handling of registered warrants,
A letter was read from the B; P. Railway Company relative
to the improvements of settling basin.
Br. Broughton received a call and lad- to leave.. said Nr. Vo rdahl
President of the Council presided during his absence„
ORDINANCE- NOI, 344
ordi:nanee No. 30 being an ordinance providing that it shall be
unlawful for-any person or persons to erect, maintain or park for camping ?
purposes or living quarters any motor vehicle, trailer, trailer house,
wagon or vehicle of any kind, or any temporary structure or building
within the City Limits or to live and or to reside therein, was presented
and read. It was moved by Conrad and seconded by Reardon that Ordinance
No. 340 be passed and adopted. Upon joll Call Vordahl, 00nrad, Smith,
Bray Reardon and Bidwell voted Aye and Law voted no, Thereupon Ordinance

a special tax against certain property designated as Garbage.Ro 1, for
the removal of Garbage, Snow, Weeds and Refuse, was presented and read
for final approval. The City Clerk produced proof of publication in
the Laurel Outlook and stated that no protests had been received. It
was moved by Conrad and seconded by Law that final passage and approval
be made, pon. Roll Call all aldermen present voted Aye and said Resolu-
-Lion-No. 445, was finally passed and adopted,
RESOLUTION NO. 446
Resolution Bo. 446, being a resolution levying and assessi
a .special tax against certain property designated. as Garbage District No.
5 for the removal of abage, Snow, Weeds and Refuse, was presented for
final approval, The City Clerk produced proof of publication in the
Laurel Outlook and stated that no protests had been received. It was
moved by Smith and seconded by Bmy that final passage and approval of
said Resolution be made. Upon Roll 0all-all aldermen present voted Are and

the Laurel Outlook and stated that no protests had been received. It was
moved by Reardon and seconded by aldwoll that final passage and approval
of Resolution No. 447 be made. n- Re?11 Call all aldermen present voted

Dr. Broughton had a call and Nels Verdabl presided during
the remainder of the session,
