February 17, 1935.
The City Council of the City of laurel met in special
session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall for the purpose
of discussing location of bridge and granting of an easement to
The State Highway Department for encroaching on City property at
the pump house if found to be necessary.and was called to order
by. Mayor R. Broughton at 2:00 o'clock P. Ins. Sunday Feb. 17, 1935. I
Upon roll call the following Aldermen answered present:
Bray
Sidwell
Law

Reardon
Hartley
It was roved by Law and seconded by Brag that as a last
resort and in order to locate the bridge over the Yellowstone Hiner
at or near its present site the Council is willing to grant to the
°- State Highway Department ar easement for s highway to be constructed
over the bity pump house, provided, however, that the total cost of
any changes to be made in the pump house or water works intake well
and intake line shall be borne lyy the jjontana State Highway Commission
and the City relieved of any expenditure by reason of granting said
easement. Upon roll call, All Aldermen present voted aye and said
motion was declared passed and adopted.
It wasp ,moved by Sidwell and seconded by Hartley that the
City Count,il a&4pt a resolution requesting the Highway Commission to
leave thp?bxidKe in its present location. Upon roll call,.all Alder-
men present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and
adopted.
It 'was moved and seconded that we do now a ourn. The
motion carried.
