Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
March 17, 1936.

The City Council of the City of Laurel, met in regular,
session in the Council Chambers in the Cit. , 4411-and was called to
ender by Mayor $roaghton. at 7:5G o'clock P'. M. March 17th, '1936.

The, easlarer s delinquent license report was presented
and read. It was moved by Lai-. and s econded by, Siit,h that the report
be accepted an placed on file, The -motion carri.ed*
After some discussion regarding the delinquent license
report, it was moved by fith and aeconded by,Bray that the City
Treasurer be instructed to ecllect all delinquent lieenses or start
proceedings to collect. The motion carried..
Mr. Tim Reardon asked for a permit to build an addition
of ten feet on his ,perch and g7aas in the `,entire porch. App;okima.te
oast to be 43W. It waa mave`d by Smith and aeeonded by C4nxad that
the permit be granted. The Motion earried,
.Ray wards asked for permission to move tVIe gasoline

and seconded by Smith that the permit be granted. The motion oa.r.ried.
It was moved by 4onrad an& seconded by Bray that the following
named places be :designated as Polling places for. the election to be field
April 6 1936,

The motion curried.
The City Hngin.eor made a report on the progress of t'tie j

B. L. Price, chairman of the Park. Committee, reported that

Outdoor playground and wanted Council to co-eperate with them. Tha:

B. L. Price also reported that State Highway Commission was
installing buildings for information bureau at ports o f 'entry in State of
Montana, and asked for to-operation of Counci1 in seearing one for' `Lam-rel.
