extinguishing. No damage was done to the garbage can and the crew could not determine
what started the fire.
Engine 1 arrived on scene,two members made contact with responsible.Two members
entered the residence and found a faulty carbon monoxide alarm.Advised the resident that

Tennant woke up to smoke in the residence. Upon investigation it was discovered that the
furnace motor was malfunctioning and getting excessively hot creating smoke and electrical
smell. Property owner was notified and scene was turned over to them.
