Vehicle fire that caused grass fire
George Schoenbeck driving West on Highway 10 and smoke started coming from under his
feet. Jumped out and flames coming from under the sides of the hood. Exhausted 2
extinguishers but did not put the fire out. Hood was still down upon arrival of first unit.

Responsible had a permit and is in process of extinguishing some logs when the fire was
reported.
Command reminded him that fire need to be extinguished by sundown, not 30 minutes after.

Pickup truck driving east hit the guard rail of the big ditch bridge.Then the truck went off the
03/19/2016 2016 066 4028 old hwy 10 west south side of the road into the residents yard and hit a tree. The patient had to be extricated 1 Station 1 Fire District 7
out of the vehicle and was loaded up into Care 1. Highway patrol was not on scene and fire
secured before they arrived.
Responded to horse palace to assist AMR and setup LZ for Help Flight.

CO monitor went off in small motel room, room was sealed up tight, has a small wall mounted
heater, and about 5 feet off the ground is the CO monitor about 3 feet from the heater,on

apartment,901 advised the hotel managers that they need to move the CO monitor closer to
the ground and if this problems persists to call the gas company.
