It was moved. by 1-b-omson and seconded by Law the report be approved. The 2notioii carried. The report of the 14111ater Department for the month of Augmst wax presented and read. It was moved by - Law and seconded by Thomson the report be approved. The rn.otio-_(j carried. An application for a permit by T. 1-11. Carmen to construct a -`-"rarae and painted uarage, concrete foundation on Lot 4 CD , Block 6., Laurel Realty Subdivision, was presented and read. It was moved by Law and seconded by Geo. Smith the perrii.it 'be granted,, The motion carrioed'. An application for a permit by Chas. E. Russell to move a build- ing size 20x28 frogn. outside,, the city limits to Lots 6, 7 and 8. Sec. 16 T. 2 S. R. 24 E and place on concrete foundation and remodel., was pre- sented and read. It was moved by Thomson and seconded by Scoarse the permit be granted, The motion carried, ProDert-v owners petitioned the City Council to have the City coni struct and lay a two inch cast iron water pipe on. Idaho Avenue between First Street and !,..,lain Street, a two inch cast iron pi -pe on Montana Avenue between First Street and llain Street, a six inch cast iron water pipe on Fourth Street between First Avenue and 111ontana Avenue, a four inch cast iron water pipe on Pennsylvania Avenue between First Street and Fourth Street, a four *Inch cast iron water pipe on Yontana Avenue between First Street and Fourth Street and a six inch cast iron water pipe on Fourth Street between Elontana Avenue and Idaho Avenue, in Which petitions they agreed to have the cost of samie assessed in the same manner as Special Improvement District assessments are levied over a Period riot exceeding five years, Ita ws moved byseconded.. Thomson and by VVooters the petitions be approved anal work conanenced as soon as possible. The motion carried. V1. Laird and Mr. C. H.
