September 10, 1938.' 0 Upon roll call the following aldermen answered presente Dome r Ge o Smi th Scoarse Thomson VV'o o t e r s Law An application for permission to connect with the city's six-inch water main on Sixth street between Elm and Fir Avenues and install a three-quarter inch copper water line from that point running north through the alley in Block 4, Nutting Subdivision to the city lirflits :IAK­ and to install either copper or iron from there on, was presented. by Wo L. Orndorff and L. A,, Nutting. It was moved by footers and seconded by Geo. Smith permission be granted as outlined. The motion carried, Property owners petitioned the City Council to have -the City con- struct and lay a four inch cast iron water pipe on Colorado Avenue between First Street and Fourth Street, in �vhlch peition they agreed to have the cost of X15.00 per lot, respectively, assessed in the same manner as Special Improvement District assessments are levied over a period not exceeding five years. It was moved by Thomson and seconded bar ,Scoarse the petition be approved and work commenced as soon as possible. The motion carried, After discussion it was moved by Gomer and seconded by Geo. Smith the proposed levy of 1.19 mills for Sewer Bonds be levied in the General Fund and the proposed levy of 6.94 mills for Street Bonds be levied in the Street Fund, Upon roll call all aldermen present voted aye and said motion was declared passed, RESOLUTION NO, 504 Resolution No. 504, being a resolution levying taxes for general and specific purpos es f or the City of Laurel. Montana f or the fiscal Fear beginning July 1. , 1938, was presented and read, It was moved by Thorn -son and seconded by Wooters Resolution No. 504 be passed and approved* Upon roll call all aldermen present voted aye and said resolution was declared passed and approved.
