EXAMIIEERtS NOTES
The records of the officers were found to be written up to date and in a
neat and accurate manner.
The Treasurer's cash balance was verified and the cash deposited in the
bank was properly protected by depository secure. es
'ilne License Receivable account would indicate that a great many are
delinquent in the payment of license fees due the City. if licenses
are paid by some of your people, it is the dutv. of the City to see
that such licenses are paid by all., as a matter of fairness*

In February the Treasurer made an error in the amount of q2.50 in

takinrr the dog 12.c ease collections to account, This slight error
should be, adjusted in tl---e settlement of the May collections,,
For some unknown reason Treasurerts checks 11"o s. 2710 and 2765 in
the amount of 100.00 each, issued Februany 23, 1929, to the State
of 1,111ontana, have never been presented to The Yellowstone Bank for
paymen.t. and have beer, carried as outstanding checks hecks since that time.
I'le are calling this to the attention of the State Treasurer for his
conlsi/alerat:i. on*
The large annownt of delinquency in the water accounts is due to the
fact act that the April charge had been made but the collecting per:1-od
ip-jas just about to cornmen-ce as the collections are usually made

The clairas for t1line period were in very good form, properly itemized
and approved by the Comn.ittee on Finance and viere filed away in a

Suitable official bonds have been J,'--"I*-I..ed by the City Clerk, it

police officers should also be under bond..
